I know life-with-kids can be busy.
Our full home is a busy, noisy place, and sometimes I just need a break from all the chaos and SOUND, so I give my kids an instrument.
I know….sounds crazy….but it really works. Hear me out:
I’m sure you can relate to this: I’m just trying to get a moment of quiet to pay a bill, plan a meal, or just THINK A THOUGHT. And the kids are bouncing off the walls, yelling at each other, or just being LOUD.
So, I send them into another room, give them the Playful Pitch instruments, and close the door.
All the chaotic yelling and thuds, change instantly into a gentle, beautiful chiming.
And the best part: I don’t even have to be there with them. And they are actively learning and making music - on their own.
With the color-coded instrument, and Montessori-inspired approach, my kids can play familiar songs and Catholic hymns on their instrument with intuition.
The instrument - and the color-coded music notes - become the ‘teacher’ and the learning is driven by their own natural curiosity and desire to make music.
I love that I can give them a tech-free way to learn a skill while I'm crossing out other things on my big to-do list.
